Rooms Types
What is meant by ensuite?
An ensuite room is a room with its own private facilities such
as shower/bath, toilet and hand basin.
What is meant by a Standard room?
A standard room would not have these private facilities. The
bathroom would reside outside the room and shared with
other guests in the home.
What is a Twin room?
A Twin room is a room with 2 beds.
What is a Double room?
A Double room is a room with 1 bed that can sleep 2 people.
What is a Triple room?
A Triple room is a room with a mix of the above. e.g. 1 single
bed & 1 double bed or 2 double beds or 3 single beds.
What is a Family room?
A Family room is a room with a mix of the above. e.g. 2
single beds & 1 double bed or 2 double beds. Check with the
home for exact make up.
Partial Board
Partial Board can be arranged. It is a daily or weekly rate,
please check directly with the home at time of booking for
up to date rate.

Classification Upgrade
An upgrade payment will be due if you decide to stay in a
property that is of a higher star rating than the package you
have purchased. The upgrade charge will be paid locally.
Is it advisable to pre-book our holiday?
It is advisable to pre-book first and last night’s
accommodation in advance at all times. July/August &
September are peak season so please book your
accommodation early. Rooms in Dublin City and County can
be difficult to find unless accommodation is pre-booked. If
visiting the capital city, we strongly advise pre-booking all
accommodation well in advance. Never count on finding
rooms at short notice in Dublin. Always reserve in advance.

Can you give directions to the B&B?
You will find directions to all homes on
www.reserveabandb.com or check the properties own
website.
What is the check in times?
Check in times is normally between 3pm – 6pm, unless
otherwise agreed with your host/hostess.
Are the homes approved?
All our homes are approved to Fáilte Ireland and Northern
Ireland Tourist Board standards (The official Irish Tourist
Boards); all our homes meet these standards.
Guide Dogs and Pets
With the exception of Guide Dogs, in the interest of hygiene
pets are not allowed inside the premises. Some homes cater
for pets outside the premises. Look for details under facilities
for each house and check when booking or check our new
Pet Friendly homes, see symbol throughout the guide.
What credit cards are accepted?
Visa, MasterCard and Eurocard are accepted practically
everywhere in service and retail outlets. Diners Club and
American Express cards are also accepted by many outlets.
Maestro and EDC (European Debit Card) are accepted in most
places which accept Visa and MasterCard. Most credit cards
can be used in ATMs, especially the Bank of Ireland and Allied
Irish Bank ATMs, except for American Express.
The majority of our homes accept credit cards (see facilities).
There may be a small charge to use your credit card in some
homes.
